Blue Vinous Kampfrau

The hand made costume is inspired by period woodcuts from 1525 to 1535 (Der Landsknecht im Spiegel Renaissaincegraphik um 1500-1540, Birgit von Seggen, Bonn 2003).
The basic layer is voluminous linen shirt tied around the neck and wrists by lucet ribbon. The wool bodice of the dress is fasten by hooks and eyes. The line apron has a embroidered motive in right lower corner. The headdress consists of a cotton coif and a baret decorated by feathers. The ribbons with brass aiglets are made by lucet technique. The pouches on the leather belt are made by Daniel Krizan.
