Bodice according to Norsk Folkemuseum’s original

The silk bodice, which can change the look of the dress, was made according to the extant bodice form the Norsk Folkemuseum, c. 1799 – 1802. It is made of silk with cotton lining and is trimmed with a black ribbon and many silk covered buttons. The bodice is worn over an apron front dress and is completed with an embroidered veil of cotton tulle. All is handsewn.
