White regency bib front dress - underwear

Under the brassiere is still worn a shift. This cotton square neck shift was made because the dress has a low neckline also at the back. It was made according to the original dated to 1800 - 1815 (Historic New England) and similar original from collections of Ohio Historical Society. The underwear is completed with the silk pair of stockings with embroidered clocks with garters made for rococo dress with the pierrot jacket.
