White regency bib front dress – regency brassiere
The
regency brassiere is made according to the extant brassiere
dated to early 19th Century located in Kyoto Costume Institute.
The brassiere is made of cotton twill, linen lining and twill
tape and consists of two separate triangular parts with shoulder
pieces, which are tied around the chest with tapes. According to
the extant brassiere at the front there is some vertical boning. |
