Rococo dress – accessories

  Other part of the outfit is hand sewn pair of stockings made of silk knitwear embroidered with blue silk thread at the ankles made according to original ones from England dated to around 1750 (Costume Close-up. Clothing Construction and Pattern 1750-1790). Stockings are fastened with satin garters made according to original ones from France dated to around 1780 located in Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Shoes were adapted according to shoes in collections in Kyoto Costume Institute.
