Jirina Myskova

   She sews historical costumes mainly for period dance exhibitions at least for 17 years. Her main aim was to achieve pattern authenticity. Sometimes was necessary to use not period material. She is also interested in recreation of embroidery techniques. Everything is hand made including accessories - bags, headdresses and occasionally shoes. Contact email.

It is made of blue velvet with embroidered applications with motives of Czech lions and St. Venceslav eagles.

Dress made according to the Petrus Christus paiting (1469). A shaped over dress is of gold black brocade.

German dress belonging to the first half of 16th century. Clothing is made of dark blue linen.

It is based on period paintings (ca 1520). The base is made of red sateen. At the upper part is hand made lace remaining reticella.
