Henrican gown
The gown is based on Jane
Seymour's portrait (Hans Holbein the Younger, 1536). The hood is
made of white twill canvas stiffened with a glue and wires. The
front part is covered with white silk and decorated with small
jewels and pearls. The lappets are made of a brocade and lined
with a white silk. Back of the hood and veils are made of black
silk velvet. The frontlet is made of silk damask.
