Very rich buckle was made according to the
original located in The Walters Art Museum. The buckle is
carved from a thick brass sheet, trimmed with an engraving
and equipped with semi-precious stones – synthetic sapphire,
almandines and turquoises. Stones are inserted into the
smooth rims and have smooth cut, called cabochon. On the
first picture the buckle has patina surface and on the
second one is gilded. |
