Casaque

Multipurpose cloak used by the soldiers during the thirty years war. The same distance between the buttons and holes on the sleeve and side seams allows to fasten it in many ways. The used materials are the wool and the cotton textile for the underlining. The casaque is inspired by the pattern published by Norah Waugh in The Cut of Men´s Clothes 1600-1900 (Casaque 1630).
