The regency boy’s outfit

  The outfit consists of a cotton shirt with a cotton muslin pleated frill, a cotton waistcoat trimmed with a twisted cord and two decorative thread buttons, white cotton trousers made according to the fashion plate No 10, Costumes de Paris, Costumes d'enfans, 1810 (Bibliothèque nationale de France) and leather shoes. All is handsewn.
