Regency demi-neglige

  An asymmetric demi-neglige (an informal dress) was made according to the fashion plate from "Costume Parisien", reprint from "Fashions of London and Paris", date July 1800 (the original fashion plate from "Costume Parisien" is an 8, so 1799) as a project for Mme Chantberry Fashion Plays 2016. The pelisse and the cap are handsewn of cotton satin with linen lining trimmed with green silk, the pelisse has "en fourreau" back, the cap is completed with a veil of embroidered cotton tulle. Under the pelisse the apron front dress is worn.
