Pink underdress with bodice
The pink
silk sleeveless underdress could be worn also as an outwear with
a muslin bodice/spencer with cotton embroidery made according to
the fashion plate from "Costume Parisien" ("Journal des dames et
des modes"), an 8 (1799), 174. The headwear consists of a muslin
cap and a turban wrapped of a cashmere shawl, front curls are a
separate hairpiece (also used in Regency era) of artificial
hair. |
