Textile techniques

Bobbin lace is a quicker alternative to the very time-consuming sewn lace. This type of a lace is made by bobbins with threads, which are crossed each other to create a pattern and fixed with pins during the work. This sample is made according to the reconstruction sample of bobbin lace “reticella” in a book Dějiny odívání: Krajky, výšivky, stuhy, prýmky.
