Red surcotte

lady’s dress is made according to the Codex Manesse
illuminations (1300-1320). The cotte is sewn of a silk dupioni.
The sleeves are hemmed by a silk brocade with golden threads.
The neckline is embroidered by silk threads and accompanied by
grey river pearls and small olivines.
The surcotte is made of silk with green and red threads. The
surcotte is decorated by golden metal filigrees and olivines and
by an embroidery.
