Striped bustle era dress
The dress from 1880 is made of fine striped cotton, sateen, silk
decorated by handmade embroidery. The dress consists of a
chemise with standing collar with lace frills and fichu, a
petticoat with pleated frill, a bustle, an inner skirt made of
fine beige cotton decorated by handmade laces. The outer skirt
and the coat are made of striped cotton, dark blue cotton
decorated by a vinous silk (standing collar and bow). The coat
is fasten by a row of glass buttons. |
