The evening gown

     The ladies evening gown from ca 1880. It consists of a cotton petticoat, a wire bustle, a skirt and a sleeveless corset. The gown is made of taffeta with a black lace, tassels, spangles and feather decorations around neckline. The dress is complemented by a lace and feather fan and long sateen gloves.
