Craftsman costume
The
costume of an craftsman from the second half of the 13th century
made for a history teacher at an elementary school in Skutec as an
teaching aid. The costume here wears one of his favorite pupils.
It consists of : linen tunica inferior (after the
pattern of
the tunic of St. Louis deposited at the Notre dame cathedral in
Paris, the relic is dedicated to the French king Louis (1214 -
1270), woolen tunica superior (it's shape is a combination of
elements of the tunic of the
Bocksten
man (pattern)
and of the tunic of the
Skjoldham
man), woolen-synthetic separated hose, flax braies, woolen
hood and a woolen handbag.
