Dress of Marie de Medici
The back
view of the Marie de Medici gown. The pattern of the large skirt
and bodice is an alternation of the concept published in The
Tudor Tailor (N. Mikhaila, J.Malcolm-Davies). The bodice
underlaied by stiff cloth and reinforced on the chest by plastic
wheal-bones is fastened in the front by hiden lacing and hooks.
Large padded sleeves are sewn according to the pattern designed
by Ing. arch, Martin Hrib.
Photo was taken by Ing. Premysl Polasek in Tovacov castle.
