Lady's red cotehardie

  Lady is dressed in tight woolen cotehardie based on Herjolfsnes No.38 (late 14th century) Woman wears gloves, white linen kruseler (headdress) and belt with a purse. The position of the 3 brooches is inspired by an illumination in Très Belles Heures de Notre-Dame du Duc de Berry c. 1404-1412 Manuscript (Ms. nouv. acq. lat. 3093) Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris.
