A garment inspired by the portrait of the
Queen of Spain by Diego Velasquez (1652/3, KHM, Vienna). The
upper skirt is supported by a guardainfante construction.
The heavily reinforced doublet was referred to as a jubón
encotillado. The other pages show the use of the veil.
