Red woman’s jacket 

   The jacket from the first half of 17th century is made of a red woolen fabric, interlining and lining in similar color. It can be fasten by brass hooks and eyes. If needed a linen parlet, an apron and sleeves can be added. Such type of jacket we can find in paintings and artefacts from ca. 1560 to 1660 in western countries, mostly in England. Adjusted pattern are taken from J. Tiramani-Seventeenth-Century Women's Dress Patterns: Book 1, ISBN- 1851776311. The jacket was finished in March 2014.
