Formal dress

The dress was inspired by the painting of Margaret Layton from 1620-25 (Marcus Gheeraets, British Galleries). The loose gown and the jacket are made of a herringbone woolen fabric. An apron and a coif are of linen textile. For the ruff 8 meters of lace were used. Patterns are taken from J. Tiramani-Seventeenth-Century Women's Dress Patterns: Book 1, ISBN- 1851776311.
