Gear of the noble man

The accessory serves to gird the clothes and to hang up small items (bag, knife, cutlery case). The belts were made of textile, tablet-woven material, leather with or without fabric covering. Objects of representation  were especially a buckle and a tongue-piece (engraved, wrought, trimmed with stones or drizzling of other metals). These buckles and tongue-pieces are made of polished brass, silver and pearls. Belts are completed with small metal eyes, which serve for hanging up of bags or purses.
