Durer dress

The goal was to create German dress belonging to the first half of 16th century. Clothing is made of dark blue linen. The circle skirt is 3 times wider in waistline. Below the overdress is cotton sateen inner skirt and cotton shirt embroidered by typical German shirt pattern of 1520. Dress is laced in front. Important part of this clothing is the headdress. It consisted of three parts:1 headband covering the forehead embroidered by so called Holbein stich. 2 Unterhaube - inner headdress 3. haube.
