Burgundian gown

The extant original luxurious belt according to the Burgundian fashion is deposited in German National Museum, Norimberk (cc.1450). The belts could be plain or decorated, possibly embroidered as indicate e.g. illuminations in Le morte d'Arthur (The Winchester manuscript, 1485?) and Historie de Helayne (Brussels, MS 9967, 1470) or Heures de Bedford (London, The British Library, Additional Ms. 18850, 1423-30).
